Producerad av Oscar-belönade James Cameron och Jon Landau, regisserad av den visionäre filmskaparen Robert Rodriguez kommer nu ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL till hemmabion. Filmen är ett episkt och maktstärkande äventyr om en ung kvinnas resa för att upptäcka sanningen om sig själv och hennes kamp att förändra världen. ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL, som har spelat in närmare 4 miljarder kronor på bio, är baserad på den japanske mangakonstnären Yukito Kishiros cyberpunk-serie ”Gunnm”.

När ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL nu släpps för hemmabion kommer den med timmar av omfattande extramaterial: Bakomfilmer med James Cameron och Robert Rodriguez som berättar om resan från manga till filmduken, hur Alita fick liv och tar dig med in i Alitas värld där du får lära dig om det förflutna, dagens karaktärer, den spännande sporten motorball och mycket mer. Handlingen i korthet:
Alita (Rosa Salazar) vaknar i en framtida värld hon inte känner igen utan något minne av vem hon är. Hon tas om hand av den godhjärtade doktor Ido (Oscar-belönade Christoph Waltz) som förstår att någonstans inne i det kasserade cyborgskalet finns hjärtat och själen hos en ung kvinna med ett mycket speciellt förflutet. När dödliga och korrupta krafter kommer efter Alita upptäcker hon en ledtråd till sitt förflutna – hon har unika stridsförmågor som makthavarna gör allt för att få kontrollen över. Kan hon hålla sig utanför deras grepp kan hon vara nyckeln till att rädda sina vänner, sin familj och världen hon lärt sig att älska. I övriga roller i den actionladdade filmen ses bland andra Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley och Keenan Johnson.
